Your adventure will start in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, then driven to Emboreet village through Maasai landscapes. Upon your arrival in Emboreet, you will be met by a Bozeman Tanzania Adventures Team Member who will welcome you for check-in at Bozeman House. You will receive a short pre-tour briefing of the following day's activities; local market tour and cultural visits. You will then head for lunch and relax for an hour or so before embarking on a special presentation of the Maasai culture.
Special presentation of the Maasai
Later in the afternoon, our cultural tour expert will make a special presentation for you, with in-depth information not only about the Maasai tribe but also about traditional herbs and detailed descriptions about their uses in traditional dishes, as cures for ailments, and even for traditional ceremonial outfits for weddings and festivals. You will also meet and interact with traditional leaders and enjoy the day with live traditional dances. You will also engage in the preparation of traditional cuisine from start to the actual enjoyment of the evening meal around a campfire.
